Yes, we have an invitation for you."Come unto me all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 Many in LCMC have discovered the truth of that invitation from our Lord, Jesus Christ. We have come into the sanctuary offered and found more than we expected! We have found that our strength really is in the "Joy of the Lord!" "Free in Christ" is not a hollow phrase, and those words have consequences. We have received freedom ... and now we invite you, if you are looking for a new home, to share in that freedom. Have you been to visit LCMC's website yet? www.lcmc.net There is lots and lots of information there. Northwest District (NWD) is a geographical district. The exact geographic area is defined more by how far is doable for a congregation than an area on a map. We have an annual gathering. While there is always a little business to conduct, it is more of a "family reunion" than a convention. We worship the Lord, learn from a keynote speaker, break bread together and share the Lords' Supper. We leave spiritually fed and uplifted. If you would like to learn more about the Northwest District of LCMC we encourage you to attend our next annual reunion and get to know us in person! It is coming up on April 23 and 24, 2010. We will gather in Kellogg, Idaho at American Lutheran Church. We also keep connected with our District newsletter, The Link. There is an archive on this web site where you can access past issues. While you are there, you will find an email link to make it easy to put yourself on the list so the newsletter can be emailed directly to you. |
