District Council

Members of the council of the Northwest District are elected in staggered terms, with approximately 1/3 of its membership elected each year.

They are elected to the council, rather than to specific positions.

Immediately after the convention at which an election takes place, the council meets and elects people from among itself to the positions of Chair, Vice-chair, Treasurer and Secretary.
